Best places to visit in NYC for the Fortnite World Cup
From July 26 – July 28, the first-ever Fortnite World Cup will be held in Flushing, New York. The top players will be fighting for a slice of the record-breaking $30 million prize pool.
The Fortnite World Cup event will offer tons of activities for fans to enjoy while the competitive event is underway.
Previous Fortnite events have had in-game themed attractions like Mini Golf and a Glider zip-line ride.
We expect the event to have even more activities for fans to participate in, but there are also tons of attractions to visit in the Flushing area along with the major New York City area.
If you have some downtime during the weekend, check out some of these locations:

Queens Zoo is most notable for their sea lion feedings, where people can interact, feed, and watch the mammals swim around and do tricks.

Back in 1939 for the World Fair, workers constructed and planted a 29-acre garden for the event. It was expanded another 10 acres in 1964 to create a breathtaking area full of flowers and art.
Queens Botanical Garden features an art gallery and different species of flowers. One of the garden’s sections is full of different colored roses.
Ticket prices start as low as $6 per person.

Located right on the corner of the street the 10,000 square foot, two-story retail spot is also the perfect place to snap some candid pictures.
On July 27 and July 28, the store will be holding “Chat with Mario and Luigi Live”, where fans can ask questions about anything Mario related.

M&M’s World debuted their custom personalized printer in 2012, where participants can custom inscribe their candy with a personalized phrase, name, or design.
The store is located in the middle of Times Square and is completely free to enjoy.

One of the best attractions to visit in NYC for families is Ripley’s Believe It or Not! museum in Times Square.
There are several packages to choose from, with some offering a combination of tickets to the museum along with one other NYC attraction, like Madam Tussaud’s wax museum.
The Ripley experience ranges from interactive puzzles, fun facts, and educational rides like the Black Hole.
New York City is one of the most densely populated cities in America, so that means there is something to do on almost every corner.
Even though there will be a huge event in Flushing, the surrounding area has a ton of experiences to offer tourists.
We hope all participants of the Fortnite World Cup have a great time in the Big Apple!
