PUBG Corps’ new Badlands Survivor Pass for its popular battle royale title has taken the top spot in the Steam charts this week.
Joining the new season pass in the top end of the chart is the Playeruknown’s Battlegrounds base game in second place, likely a combination of both the new content rolling out and its 50 per cent off sale.
Capcom has stormed the chart this week, taking three places. Pre-orders for the highly anticipated Iceborne expansion has seen the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Digital Deluxe edition take the No.3 spot. Sitting in sixth place is the base release of Monster Hunter World, Capcom’s has sold 4.5 million PC copies as of March 2019 and 13 million units overall worldwide as of July 2019. On top of this, PC is the second-largest platform for Monster Hunter World players.
The action RPG also closes out the Top Ten, Capcom’s Monster Hunter World: Iceborne DLC is pushed into the charts by pre-orders. The new expansion is set for release on PC in January 2020.
Continuing to be a dominant force in the Steam chart is Bungie. Yet again the developer and publisher have claimed three spots in this week’s Top Ten. In fourth place is the Forsaken DLC, just behind sitting at No.5 is the Destiny 2: Shadowkeep Digital Deluxe Edition. Finally, the Shadowkeep DLC remains in the chart at No.7. Bungie has seen a lot of success on Valve’s platform since joining the storefront on October 1st. Earlier this month it was revealed that the Sci-Fi shooter is owned by 3 million Steam users.
Last Week’s top title has crashed into ninth place. ZA/UM’s open-world RPG Disco Elysium was released on October 15th.
