Starter Packs are released every few months in Fortnite and a new leak has revealed the latest release may be arriving very soon.

Cosmetic purchases drive Fortnite’s financial gains and getting players into the groove of spending a little here and there to get cool looking stuff is important. Starter Packs are Epic Games’ way of letting new players (and old) begin their cosmetic journey with a small purchase of great value.

A new leak has revealed the imminent arrival of the next Starter Pack. The last starter pack to the release was the Wilde Starter Pack back in June.

Fortnite leak reveals ‘Red Strike’ Starter Pack

Starter Packs release about once per season and contain a collection of V-Bucks and an Outfit. Unlike Item Shop purchases, these packs are purchased using real money transactions similar to V-Buck purchases.

A leak from @FNBRLeaks reveals the latest incoming Starter Pack to be named ‘Red Strike.’ Using some patented data miner wizardry, they managed to get an image of the new skin.

While you can’t see the up-close features, the image does a good job of giving us a first impression. The new Outfit mixes black and red along with seemingly gold pants. Accurate to the name, it’s got an striking imagery to it.

@ShiinaBR provided more information about the pack via data mined files. The Red Strike pack will include the above skin, a Back-Bling, and 600 V-Bucks.

There will be a new Starter Pack very soon! It’s called “Red Strike Pack” and contains an Outfit, a Back Bling & 600 V-Bucks!

Description: “Silence your foes with the Red Strike Pack. An outfit, a back bling and 600 V-Bucks!”

There’s nothing surprising here as Epic’s been using this pack model for quite some time now. While it might not be the most flashy cosmetic, it’s not meant to be. The Starter Packs are modestly priced at around $4.99 in the US.

Starter Packs are typically released per time zone which means Japan & New Zealand will received these first. The exact release date is currently unknown, but a release within the next week would make sense with previous pack schedules. We’ll post more images and information about the pack once we can get our hands on it.

Though Epic does not publicly release sales stats, it would be interesting to know whether or not the horrible reaction to the BRUTE & Season X could negatively impact sales. The hesitation to fix self-made problems has gotten Epic into hot water before, but their financial situation has never seemed to waver despite these missteps.
