Fortnite’s water just keeps dropping, and every week new stuff is being revealed on the map. As of this morning, that’s a few very big locations indeed.

The first thing is the reveal of an Ancient Ship location, a crashed spaceship that has just been revealed with the lowering of the water by Craggy Cliffs. It’s just off the coast on a little sandbar, and it’s a small ship that appears to be attached to the battle pass skin Siona, judging by the loading screen.

There’s a little mini quest attached to the ship. First, it involved finding the ship, then you need to find a missing part for it. Once you do that and install it, the ship has a countdown timer and if you stay alive for the duration of it, the ship will actually launch into space and disappear, creating Chapter 1 rifts on the map for the first time in ages. You can jump through them and they will drop you into the sky just like the old one. It’s a pretty cool mini easter egg quest.

Here’s where you find the ship on the map if you want to start this quest. I’m still looking for the part location, but I think it’s nearby.

The second location is much larger and more significant. We all wondered what was under the whirlpool, and many thought that it was going to be Atlantis, home of Aquaman. Well, not quite, but it is an underwater kingdom of sorts. It’s called Coral Castle and it’s a surprisingly beautiful zone that seems to be home of the tiny coral people we’ve seen around the map infrequently thus far.

It’s a lot of winding corridors and tiny towers and seems to be a pretty good spot for looting. I was trying to take pictures of it in solos but I kept being murdered, so I only have a few, including someone apparently trying to crash into it with a helicopter as seen above.

I am not sure if these are the only two locations that have been revealed with today’s water drop, but these have been on the docket for a while, and we’re not getting toward the end of the traditional ten week season, though it seems almost destined that this season will end up extended like the last two have been.

For now, go find that spaceship and fire it up, as it’s cool to watch in person. And go explore Coral Kingdom, which might be the most interesting new zone that’s been added to the game this season.
