Last year’s Fortnite Winterfest brought players various rewards, and we are hoping that this year’s edition brings more of the same.
While everyone is making their Christmas wish lists for Santa, we thought we would make our own Winterfest wish list for Epic Games.
These are the three things we would like out of this year’s Fortnite Winterfest:.
It’s live! Now you can video chat with friends in Fortnite with @Houseparty!

Bring in the festivities and add snow back into the game to get everyone in the Christmas spirit. It is very likely that Epic Games will add snow into the game, as they have in every other year.
The snow adds a certain element of beauty to the Fortnite map and is always a great addition during the winter months.
Santa Claus Skin
Last year during Winterfest, Fortnite players had the opportunity to earn an original Nutcracker skin. This was a festive addition into the game, and it gave players an extra incentive to complete their Winterfest challenges.
It would be cool if Epic Games decided to draw up a Santa Claus skin for this year’s edition. We already have a sleigh glider. Sgt. Winter was added in during the last Winterfest and resembles a rugged Santa, but it would be even better if they added in a round and jolly big man for this go around.
Simple, but oh so effective. Adding Double XP for the entirety of the Winterfest event would allow players to grind through the Battle Pass during the Holiday Season.
With the addition of new PlayStation and Xbox consoles, more players will be creating new accounts and dropping into Fortnite. The perfect way to welcome new members to the community while also rewarding the existing members is through Double XP.
