The dancing and choreography in Lil Nas X’s music video for ‘Rodeo’ would make for an awesome dance emote in Fortnite. Epic Games needs to make it happen.

Grammy Award-winning artist Lil Nas X released the official music video for his song “Rodeo,” which was featured 2019’s 7 EP. I’ll be the first to admit that when it comes to current music trends, I’m the last person who should be writing about it.

But upon watching the video for “Rodeo,” I couldn’t help but thing that the choreography in it would make for an awesome dance emote in Fortnite. I mean, check out this clip and tell me it wouldn’t be perfect for the battle royale game.

Now, Epic Games is no stranger to taking popular dance routines. They recreate them in the game as dance emotes, rename them and then sell them for $10-or-more a pop to millions of young kids.  They make bank off this, all without having to give the original creator any credit or royalties.

As a result of their actions, the developer faces numerous lawsuits from celebrities claiming their dance routines were stolen. Brooklyn rapper 2Milly, former “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro and, most famously, “the Backpack Kid” are some celebrities who have filed lawsuits against Epic Games.

It’s unclear what will come of these lawsuits as most of them have been on pause since last year. The general sentiment is that it’s a crappy thing for Epic Games to do, but that probably won’t stop them from continuing to cash in.

I could easily see them doing such with the “Rodeo” dance. Not only is it a catchy dance that looks like it would fit in perfectly with Fortnite, but it also comes from one of the biggest artists in America right now, Lil Nas X.

Most probably recognize the name from the award-winning song “Old Town Road,” but he’s got plenty of bangers. “Rodeo,” of course, is one of those.

Seriously, I would love to see a part of this dance added into Fortnite, but I also don’t condone their current practice. If Epic Games is to add this into the game, I would hope that they come to some sort of deal with Lil Nas X.
