Vivo has confirmed the launch date for its Z1Pro smartphone in India. While the company had been teasing the device and its specs in India for a while, it has now confirmed that the phone will launch in India on July 3.

The Vivo Z1Pro is the first phone to house the Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC in India. The processor is based on a 10nm manufacturing process and is powered by Kryo 360 cores clocked at 2.3GHz, a sliver higher than the Snapdragon 710. Qualcomm says the 712 gets a 35 percent boost in graphics performance compared to the Snapdragon 710. This is possibly why the Vivo Z1Pro was used as the official device of PUBG Mobile Club Open India semi-finals. Vivo claims that the new chipset scores 184,449 on Antutu benchmark, compared to the Snapdragon 710’s score of 174,189.

In terms of other specs, Vivo has confirmed that the Z1Pro will feature a large 5000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging. It will also get a 32MP selfie camera housed inside a punch-hole display. There’s a triple camera at the back of the device consisting of 16MP, 8MP and 2MP sensors. A fingerprint sensor rests at the top-centre of the back panel. The FHD+ LCD display on the phone measures 6.53-inches. and its variants include – 4GB/64GB, 6GB/64GB, and 6GB/128GB.

Additionally, the device will feature Multi-Turbo tech, including — Center Turbo for improved frame rates, AI Turbo for improved performance of apps, Net Turbo for better connectivity, Cooling Turbo for improved temperature management, and Game Turbo for better gaming performance. It also gets Widewine L1 Support and will be available in Sonic Blue, Soci Black and Mirror Black colours.

The device will be made available through Flipkart when it launches.
